This is a tough area for many but in looking at the area of healing much more about the incredible heart of God for His people is revealed. Come and discover more about not just healing, but the Healer Jesus Christ.
Our Kingdom series continues in the area of Healing. This is going to be an challenging and encouraging series about the incredible Kingdom of God and how you can live in the goodness of the work of Jesus.

Week 1 - God wants you well

Week 2 - God has always been Healer

Andrew Toogood Speaking. Life is about constant change - people, circumstances, thoughts, feelings. This is the reality of life. Often what happens is that we think that God changes as much as everything else does. One of the fundamental foundations in the area of healing is understanding that Jesus Christ never changes and that he always acts perfectly consistently with his nature - somethings that we are just not used to in anyone else. This is an incredible foundation in the whole area of healing. Jesus will always act to make you whole. Truth that will set you free.
Week 3 - Sickness is not from God

Andrew Toogood speaking. How you view something will determine how you approach it. Many christians live with the idea that sickness might be from God. Maybe he uses it to teach us a lesson. Maybe it is actually for our good- its just that we do not understand the ways of God. It is this kind of thinking that has bound people in sickness and condemnation. The truth is completelt liberating. Sickness is evil and is not from God. It is not part of his plan and He does not will it for you to teach you anything. Is that in the bible? Listen and discover simple life changing truth that sickness is not from God. Andrew also looks at Isaiah 53. Again the truth of this is so simple - does it mean physical healing or not? Great truth to feed you and encourage you.
Week 4 - Jesus healed them all

Andrew Toogood Speaking. An amazing thing today is that people talk about healing and the ministry of Jesus is something of an after thought. Many Christians wonder if God wants them well and they scratch their heads when asked that question. The bible tells us that Jesus is the exact replica of His father and what He did and said was only what he saw from His Father. Despite this many of us still are not sure. Andrew looks at key verses that have been used to state that Jesus was primarily interested in our sin and there is no provision for sickness in your body and shows why this view is simply not biblical. Some of us have swallowed a completely distorted view of Jesus and his work. The truth however will encourage you and help you understand more of why we believe that Jesus wants you whole. He healed them all and he will heal you too.
Week 5 - How to receive part 1 - Performance vs Position

Andrew Toogood speaking. Today everyone who has received Jesus lives in the benefit of the new covenant of God’s love and unmerited favour. Many people still live though with a mindset that tells
them that their ability to receive from God is based on their
performance. This can be a huge stumbling block in the area of healing. The word tells us that we are able to receive from God because of our new position in Christ and not because of what we do for
Christ. Many “faith” movements have done little more than bind people further in legalism and condemnation, leaving many disillusioned and confused.
The simple truth is that when have a clear revelation of our position then we are free to live in what the word calls the rest of God - in peace, free from worry, fear & anxiety
Week 6 - How to receive - Aaron & Jill Boyd

Aaron & Jill Boyd Speaking. Aaron & Jill are part of the pastoral team at Exchange Church. Aaron is known as the lead singer in the band Bluetree but many will not realise the personal journey that they have been on as a family in the area of healing. Their first daughter Lily, now aged 5, was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at birth and they have been on a journey of healing ever since. With amazing honesty and openness, they both share their journey so far. Week 7 - Do you have enough faith?

The whole idea of faith really can get people uptight. There is much bad teaching in this area It generally breaks down into 2 different views- 1) If you don’t have enough faith then God wont heal you 2) Your faith is irrelevant because God will do it anyway. Many have been told that the reason that they do not see breakthroughs in many areas, including healing, is because they do not have enough faith. This has left trail of condemnation and guilt that Jesus never intended for us. However Jesus did talk a lot about faith and unbelief - especially in the area of healing. So we cannot ignore it. The truth of what Jesus said will encourage you and release you - in more areas than just healing
Week 8 - Guard your heart

Ever had a time when you really wanted / needed to take a step of faith to believe for something with God but you bottled it? Maybe in the area of healing you are struggling to believe that God has made wholeness available for you? Perhaps God is speaking to you now about an area in your life but you cannot seem to break through? Jesus used an expression a number of times that has caused some confusion - "you of little faith" You may have been taught that that means that you do not have enough faith and so therefore that is why you do not see breakthrough.. However a more careful look at the bible tells us exactly what Jesus said was the cause in us of those moments where we do want to operate in faith but we do not. It is all about the condition of our hearts, not faith, that is the real issue. Learning how to guard our hearts is therefore key to seeing the fullness of God in our lives. Week 9 - How to kill your giants

Finishing this Healer series off Andrew looks at what it takes to overcome tough situation that we face. In 1st Sam 17 we read the story of a young boy who faced a giant and won. Giants tower over us and their shadows can be cast over every area of our lives but there are some lesser known details hidden in this story that absolutely apply to us today. You were not made to sit paralysed in a camp whilst life situations get the better of you. You were made to see victory. You were made to slay giants.
