What is it all about?

Loving our Kids on Purpose is a 6 week course for parents of all ages. It takes a fresh look at the role of parenting and applies the principles of the Kingdom of God to our strategy as parents. Most parenting techniques look at how to simply control behaviour without understanding that maintaining and developing a heart connection with our kids will mean stronger, deeper, more honest relationships between parents and kids.

what actually happens?

This is an intereactive seminar. The instruction element is DVD led, with time for parents to get together  afterwards to discuss the material over tea & coffee. The aim is to learn together, share stories, give and receive help and learn new approaches to parenting that will make your family life richer and more enjoyable. It is informal, relaxed, and very humorous!

what other info do you have?

Loving our kids on Purpose is a ministry of Danny and Sherri Silk. Danny and Sheri serve on the Senior Management Team at Bethel Church in Redding, CA. Danny is the director of Global Transformation Institute and oversees the Bethel Staff development. Sheri is the Family Life Pastor at Bethel Church and oversees many
areas including City Outreach, Bethel’s Leadership Development for Women, and the Healing Rooms Ministry. They are the founders of Loving On Purpose Educational Services, a ministry to families and communities worldwide. what does it cost?

The course costs £25 per couple or £15 for single parents. This covers a course workbook, refreshments and other materials. We do not want finance to be an issue for those who are unable to meet this cost. Please let us know if that is the case. Places will be limited so we recommend that you register as soon as possible to reserve your place. The course starts on January 16th 2012 and runs bi-weekly for 6 Monday nights at Exchange Church Belfast.
